Music History- Ben's first musical group was called The Clue (A Led Zeppelin and Rush rocking band!!) , in it he played drums and sang lead, a feat which is no easy task for a teenager, and still amazes this writer, he started the band Ben & The Gentlemen in 1983, of which Ben and Bill were also members over a 10 year span. Ben is still singing almost all the lead vocals for Planet Groove, as he did with Ben & The Gentlemen. Ben is mostly a self taught singer, with a super strong R&B voice with a raspy tinge, that is perfect for fronting a band as powerful as Planet Groove.

Something No One Would Know About Ben- He has only sang to his wife one on one once (when they were dating, it must have worked), also he has a need to be on stage playing, not just a want.
